"This work reimagines Watteau’s elegant garden scenes through layers of dissolving colour and atmospheric depth. At the centre, a luminous figure in pink emerges from a landscape caught between formation and fade—a garden turning to mist, light filtering through dense foliage. The lush greens and earthy tones evoke Rococo idylls, but here they speak to something more complex: endurance, memory, transformation. Darker forms gather at the base like shadows or echoes, grounding the composition in a sense of weight and history. What persists is the central figure—spectral yet present, delicate yet resilient. She inhabits a space between beauty and impermanence, grace and survival. This is a painting about what remains when elegance meets time, when the garden becomes both dream and ruin.." - Monika Schwarzová
