Hand built using high firing earthstone clay. Angels are made from porcelain, attached with nichrome wire. Slip was applied at the leather hard stage. Next, the entire piece was bisque fired, applied with coloured underglazes, and fired again with sparkly lithium glaze. Gold lustre was applied to the angel's wings and the key hole, and small amounts of enamel were utilized for colour enhancement. The elephant was then fired for the fourth and last time.
