Jasmine Rosten-Edwards is a self-taught Surrey based artist best known for creating abstract, still life and figurative abstract paintings on canvas. Her medium is acrylic paint, chosen for its durability, versality, richly hued colours and water-resistant properties. Her paintings explore different art movements from Cubism to Geometric Abstraction to Expressionism. Each painting reflects the artist's journey and lived experience, shaped by exploration and a desire to connect, question and express what words often do not convey.
Rosten-Edwards has been honing her practice for thirty years. In her past life, she completed an MBA and worked in the corporate world before deciding to transition into painting, pursuing a lifelong passion. Today, her artwork resides in many private international collections in the UK, US, Middle East and New Zealand. Her paintings are statement pieces, intended to last the test of time.
